(Role Models, Heroes, Idols and Loads of Hooey)
To learn life, what children need are loving families, close friends, competent teachers, and loyal pets. What they never need is useless athletes, frivolous actors, dippy actresses, noisome rock stars, brutal cops, military maniacs, nit witted media, and deceitful politicians.
It’s clear, then, that young people should never look to Alex Rodriguez, Michael Phelps, etc., vulgar “rappers,” racist cops, uniformed murderers, religious fanatics, politicians like George Bush and cohorts, media fools like Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Bible thumpers like Jerry Falwell, womanizing alcoholics like Babe Ruth, torturers like Michael Vick, racists like Ty Cobb, slobs like Charles Barkley, etc.
Laugh and spit at the Janus faced hypocrites shedding crocodile tears over marijuana use. Below is an historical list of such phonies.
