HOMO SAPIENS ENIGMA

HOMO SAPIENS ENIGMA
The following are seven columns from The Huffington Post that elucidate the
“violent” split that malignantly grows among most Americans today.

1. “The Character of Barack Obama” by David Bromwich 8/4/09.

2. “Keep Your Godamn Government Hands Off My Medicare”
by Bob Cesca 8/5/09.

3. “Danger on the Right” by James Zogby 8/7/09.

4. “Is the Glass Half Empty?” by Robert Kuttner 8/10/09.

5. “Death Panels for Dummies” by Shannyn Moore 8/9/09.

6. “Drug Prohibition and the President’s Political Capital” by Norm Stamper
8/9/09.

7. “Are Democrats Determined to Become What They Most Despised About
Bush?” by Peter Daou 8/10/09.

There are many more in Huffington and other papers. All of them eloquently
portraying the symptomatic decay by one subject or another, or from one
viewpoint or another. All of them offer a wide range of cures, and a few of them
could actually be helpful. I chose none from any columnists and commentators
who are obviously mentally deranged (I believe anyone like the columnists I did
choose can quickly figure out who I did not choose.)

However, the atavistic rancor over the CAUSES of each and every symptom
makes solution impossible; even compromise (Obama’s sainted partisan
approach, the golden mean, etc.) is blood letting one drop at a time. Men aspire
to be applauded which leads to the corruption of power in ALL collectives. Which
leads me to quote Thomas Paine, “The instant government is abolished society
begins to act.”

Now to a brief presentation of the CAUSES alluded to above. The best synopsis
of this phenomenon is found in the words of Rose Wilder Lane explaining the
word, “authoritarianism,”

REMEMBER!!

REMEMBER!!
(The Homicide, Genocide and Infanticide of the Innocent by the United States Government Must Never Be Forgotten.)

They make a wilderness and call it peace. Tacitus

Words of the poets live on and on:

Once we thought a few hundred corpses would be enough / then we saw thousands were still too few / and today we can’t even count the dead.

The absolute truth is: ONE murdered child, whether by government policy or by individual acts, indicts and convicts anyone and everyone participating in that murder as a murderer! There are no Orwellian, Machiavellian, Aquinian, Augustinian, ad nauseum escape hatches!
