HOMO SAPIENS ENIGMA
The following are seven columns from The Huffington Post that elucidate the
“violent” split that malignantly grows among most Americans today.
1. “The Character of Barack Obama” by David Bromwich 8/4/09.
2. “Keep Your Godamn Government Hands Off My Medicare”
by Bob Cesca 8/5/09.
3. “Danger on the Right” by James Zogby 8/7/09.
4. “Is the Glass Half Empty?” by Robert Kuttner 8/10/09.
5. “Death Panels for Dummies” by Shannyn Moore 8/9/09.
6. “Drug Prohibition and the President’s Political Capital” by Norm Stamper
8/9/09.
7. “Are Democrats Determined to Become What They Most Despised About
Bush?” by Peter Daou 8/10/09.
There are many more in Huffington and other papers. All of them eloquently
portraying the symptomatic decay by one subject or another, or from one
viewpoint or another. All of them offer a wide range of cures, and a few of them
could actually be helpful. I chose none from any columnists and commentators
who are obviously mentally deranged (I believe anyone like the columnists I did
choose can quickly figure out who I did not choose.)
However, the atavistic rancor over the CAUSES of each and every symptom
makes solution impossible; even compromise (Obama’s sainted partisan
approach, the golden mean, etc.) is blood letting one drop at a time. Men aspire
to be applauded which leads to the corruption of power in ALL collectives. Which
leads me to quote Thomas Paine, “The instant government is abolished society
begins to act.”
Now to a brief presentation of the CAUSES alluded to above. The best synopsis
of this phenomenon is found in the words of Rose Wilder Lane explaining the
word, “authoritarianism,”

AMERICA THE UGLY
AMERICA THE UGLY
(History of a Different Song)
May I begin with “Bumper Sticker Wisdom?” If the reader doesn’t feel the wisdom deep within his/her genes, the rest of this essay will blow through one ear and out the other while never touching a brain cell.
The Wisdom: It should never hurt to be a child.
Understand, I believe most humans do mourn the loss of a particular child, and if that loss was through the violence of another human being, they would demand justice and the appropriate punishment. What this essay exposes is the willingness of most humans to have no such reaction to the murder, or even literal infanticide of children by all governments. These people appear to be Pavlovianly conditioned to dehumanize and demonize a particular enemy thereby, with Orwellian Newspeak, alluding to these children as nothing more than collateral damage. Hence, millions can be slaughtered and not a tear will fall. So, before you call for my head, ask yourself, “How ugly is that?”
With NO exceptions is such evil necessary! All wars by all nations has murdered millions of such children (even if it were only ONE), it is by definition infallible EVIL! And to hell with Augustine, Aquinas, et al. who have written tomes praising such evil as, “Having something of the sublime in it.”
The following shall offer evidence of such evil thus proving that in no way can a paradigm of ethics or morality be inherent to any government (aka STATE). Furthermore, it will be shown that all government justice systems are founded on that same evil—particularly its police and courts, not only killing innocent children but also innocent men and women. It will be shown that the American justice system continues to add millions to its ugly world record for imprisonment for personal profit.

LANGUAGE PROSTITUTES AND THEIR SYMBOLS
The task and intent of this essay is to engage an investigation into words as sensitive instruments for the pursuit of truth, the defense of reality and as an exposé of how words are used for sustaining lies and fictionalizing reality. Its concept building is restricted by and to the dictionary definition of words, the academic rules of the use of logic and the laws and theories of science.
Therefore, I intend to offer such a preponderance of evidence for this essay’s positions and indictments that it cannot be refuted, but by bigots, zealots, fanatics, fools and just plain old liars.
Further, any hyperbole, satire, sarcasm, irony, metaphor, etc., which is used on my part finds its genesis in the mass of evidence to be presented. Unlike the people I indict in the essay as language prostitutes, my name-calling is at least accurate.

TORTURE
This could be an eminent juncture in human existence. A rare opportunity to establish the immutable primacy of The Individual Human Being in the universe, and an irrefutable rejection of any and all collective (statism, theism, government, religion, country, church, etc.) claim to superiority—aka the death of the Leviathan. It is the present clash over “torture” as a “right” of the state to protect itself that spawns this opportunity; it may never come again.
This letter-essay is prompted by Huffington Post columns by Arianna Huffington, “The Torture Moment;” by Howard Schweber, “Torture and the Problem of Constitutional Evil;” by Trey Ellis, “Never Again;” and a few others. Since the “comment space” for such columns rarely accommodate a gourmet recipe, and any creditable comment on the torture issue demands it, I shall mail them my “comment,” and place it on my web and blog at http://www.bobclapp.com/.
All of them, particularly Mr. Schweber, learnedly condemn torture as evil, but leave wiggle room for “constitutional” interpretation, even though Mr. Schweber admits an “overwhelming urge to throw up,” and Mr. Ellis wonders, “Can we fight an extremist enemy without becoming one ourselves?” and Ms. Huffington questions, “whether we are indeed a nation of laws.” Essentially they are proponents of pragmatism: “Do the Ends Justify the Means?” and utilitarianism, “The greatest good for the greatest number.” Their confusion springs from the unavoidable conclusion of both: In the end both metaphysics equal the maximum evil for the minimum number.
So, at this particular moment they hate torture, declare it evil, but they could never bring themselves to indict the state to BE the very genesis of evil—Period! They would never underwrite Bastiat’s cold, hard truth,
All of them are sworn to an authority greater than the individual human being, like a god who would order Abraham to kill his son, or a state that would order the dropping of “smart” bombs on a children’s hospital then name each child “collateral damage,” or a brain dead president who would order torture, uh . . . because he wants to.
Adulation of flags and bibles; Popes and Presidents; constitutions and commandments is supported by their Humpty Dumpty view of language described by Lewis Carroll,
Speaking of words, the most redundant drivel coming from the mouths of media talking heads is, “until Bush and fellow demagogues started torturing, the United States did not use torture.” What selective ignorance. Not only has the U.S. historically used torture, but has trumped it many times over by using genocide, infanticide, and good ‘ole murder! There is simply no room in this essay to recite that history. So, I suggest these myopic fools forget their 3rd grade to 12th grade propagandized history and read the most reputable and honest historian in America today (most likely ever,) Howard Zinn. I suggest his book, A People’s History of the United States, 1492 – Present. It should help Mr. Schweber “throw up,” and answer Mr. Ellis’ concern about the U.S. “becoming an extremist.”
Newsweek magazine asks, “Is Afghanistan Obama’s Vietnam?” The inescapable logic exploding from that inquiry leads to the conclusion that a My Lai, or two, is inevitable, and a Nick Ut photo of an Afghan 9-year-old Pham Kim Phuc seared naked while fleeing U.S. napalm is a certainty. So why then is Obama any better than Kennedy, Nixon, or Johnson?
Evil is the nature of the state; war and torture are its natural tools. The state does not acknowledge the real or virtual existence of the individual human being. The most brilliant depiction of this phenomenon is when Orwell has O’Brien say to Winston in 1984,
If, as I wrote at the beginning, this is to be an eminent juncture in human existence then Obama, mainstream journalists, honest intellectuals like Mr. Schweber are morally mandated to indict Leviathan in general and the United States government in particular as complicit in the genesis of evil.
Personally, I do not believe such courage exists among people who hold power or extol power. How can they when we still honor Columbus Day? (Grab your Zinn if you don’t get it.) In the final analysis I agree with H.L. Menchen,

DARWIN’S JUSTICE/MENDEL’S PEAS
DARWIN’S JUSTICE/MENDEL’S PEAS
(Mother Nature Jumps Rope)
There are some frauds so well conceived that it would be stupidity not to be deceived by them.
Charles C. Colton
A definition of infinity is not only impossible, but meaningless. Yet, if any one “thing” mirrored such a definition, it would be the “infinite” nonsense spoken, written and believed about race! And nearly all of it shrouded in fraud. One such fraud, again, attracted my attention: Attempts to explain the black athlete. This time they appeared in The Arizona Republic, 01/07/01, in a column by Dan Bickley, a sportswriter who piddles in small time intellectual fraud. His column speculates on the history of black quarterbacks specifically, and to the rise of the “black player in general” as quoted of Dan Devine.
Although Bickley’s columns are usually pushing some fanciful view of his, this one is particularly professional. He is either praising the progress of black athletes or posing Socratic questions about the extraordinary athletic abilities of black athletes. It is those questions that I propose to pursue and to answer. First, what to do about those frauds that are “so well conceived” as Charles C. Colton puts it?
Sighted in the column is a book by Jon Entine, Taboo: Why Black Athletes Dominate Sports and Why We’re Afraid to Talk About it. While he misses and dismisses some irrefutably empirical evidence (I shall offer later), he does a tremendous job of exposing the social-environment argument as a fraud. He does an average job in proving that black athletes of West African descent are bio-physically and bio-mechanically superior. Most regrettably (Like most thinkers who press on the truth, they draw back just as it’s about to draw blood.) he mentions nothing of the incubator that spawned the reason for Natural Selection and Genetic Mutation to create that athletic superiority: Statism’s and tribalism’s collective enslavement of hundreds of millions of individual human beings.
Therefore, my first task, and allowing for the length of this essay, is to present a historical synopsis of Western Africa’s slavery. It was there that a “way” of slavery coalesced macro-evolutionary mutations producing specific biological and kinesiological advantages—most notably in explosive anaerobic movements.
Secondly, again allowing for space, I will, with great pleasure, indict and prove that all levels of American government consciously, premeditatedly and with malice aforethought enacted law permitting the enslavement of African men, women and children—even to the extent of making it constitutionally protected. (This is where people start to hate me, in fact, as I’ve been told wish me dead! My reply, “Choke to death on the TRUTH, asshole!”)
Thirdly, I shall dispel the simplistic notion that the reason almost all 100-yard dash lines, NBA lineups, NFL teams, boxing matches, etc., are black is because of the decidedly disadvantaged conditions in which blacks endure; thus creating greater motivation, In other words: No Nature All Nurture!

Roid Rave: Steroids, They Do A Body Good?
In 1995, when Bob Clapp entered the supermax federal prison in Florence, Colorado, he possessed the body of an athletic 30-year-old. With striated quads, robust biceps, and six-pack abs, he was in peak physical shape. Just 24 months later, the Arizona native left the Alcatraz of the Rockies a shell of his former self. Forty pounds lighter, four inches wider in the waistline, and with 14 percent more body fat, Clapp reentered society a flabby, withered old man. There was no hunger strike, no physical illness or abuse by guards, no crippling depression that left him sedentary while doing his time. In fact, Clapp had spent nearly every waking hour of his incarceration lifting weights and exercising; he paid close, meticulous attention to his diet, and even had friends from the outside regularly ply him with vitamin and mineral supplements. Clapp’s physical decline, as it happens, was simply a matter of returning to normal—normal, that is, for a 61-year-old man.
You see, Mr. Clapp was incarcerated for the federal crimes of smuggling, dealing, and illegally possessing anabolic steroids. As a byproduct of his jail time, he had to do without the synthetic testosterones that were helping to reverse the negative effects of aging.
“I can’t see why someone would want to cave into the idea of, ‘We get old and we should just accept it and age gracefully,’” says the now–72-year-old Clapp, who, excepting his time in prison, has been taking anabolic steroids for 50 years. Since his release, he’s been obtaining his steroids legally, via a prescription from an anti-aging physician, and claims to maintain the biological age of a 36-year-old. Without his “tools,” as he calls them, Clapp says he would run the risk of osteoarthritis, cardiovascular issues, muscle wasting, depression, fatigue, a lessened mental capacity, and zero sex drive—in other words, Mr. Clapp contends he would suffer the ravages of being old.
“If you can take something that allows you to continue to wake up and smell the roses,” says Clapp, a retired educator and self-described philosopher about human existence, “why wouldn’t you?”
To buttress his argument, he offers his own body as evidence: At just over six-feet-one, the septuagenarian weighs 190 pounds and has a 32-inch waist and 11 percent body fat.
What’s lost in the noise of the steroids debate is the example of Bob Clapp, who, after a half century of steroid use, has ostensibly suffered no irreparable negative side effects. Some would argue that Clapp is an outlier, the exception that proves the rule. But to do so would be to misunderstand how steroids work.

REALITY TWISTED
REALITY TWISTED
Individual Human Being As Collective Sacrifice
Leviathan is a mercurial monster. Its historical forms appear as tribalism, monarchy, democracy, republican, aristocracy, totalitarianism, socialism, Nazism, communism; there are its theistic shapes paganism, Judaism, Islamism, Buddhism, Christianity, etc. Though it wasn’t Tennyson’s intent, his poetic lines “red in tooth and claw” sum up all of the above.
All of them, at one time or another have been considered to be “perfect” Platonic forms ruling the only provable existent in the universe—the individual human being. (For this proof see chapter two of my book, EVERYMAN AND WOMAN AN ISLAND, The Individual Human Being as PRIME in the Universe.)

Lies Finally Die!
Article below from December 2008, Life Extension Magazine:
Destroying the Myth About Testosterone Replacement and Prostate Cancer
By Abraham Morgentaler, MD, FACS Introduction By William Faloon
For decades, the medical establishment erroneously conjectured that testosterone replacement therapy increases one’s risk of prostate cancer.
Harvard-based Abraham Morgentaler, MD, FACS, has demonstrated this theory to be mistaken. Contrary to the notion that restoring testosterone to youthful levels is somehow risky, Dr. Morgentaler meticulously shows an increased risk of prostate cancer in aging men with low testosterone. This same information about the dangers of low testosterone was long ago uncovered by the Life Extension Foundation.
In this exclusive excerpt from his book, Testosterone for Life, Dr. Morgentaler recounts how it takes years, even decades, to correct a medical myth. In this case, the medical establishment’s misconception about testosterone and prostate cancer has condemned millions of aging men to suffer degenerative diseases caused by testosterone deficiency.
